So, being in Bali has been pretty cool. I’ve started learning Indonesian on Duolingo and I’ve been getting really excited when I see words I know on signs or food packaging. Roland and I have a separate house from the littles and the parents. It’s small and not air-conditioned, but we have a cool outdoor shower and privacy, so I like it.

One of my favorite moments from Bali so far is the Monkey forest, because I got to have five different monkeys climb on me and I truly became monkey man Micah (Inside joke). 8/10 for being hot and crowded, but still, would recommend.

My LEAST favorite thing was accidentally eating a super hot pepper because I thought it was a green bean… The whole left side of my face was numb and I cried my self to sleep that night. But at least I got two popsicles out of it? 2/10 would not recommend.

So far, I’ve beat a 12 year old in chess that had been playing for two weeks, fought a sea snake and won, almost fell out of many trees, and wholeheartedly thought the LED kites at night were aliens. All and all, it’s been a pretty good month.
